so i have been doin some reading the past 2 days and i have a question....as you may have read on my previous post i have just upgraded my xl5 pede to brushless...i have read that the esc/motor need a steady supply of power and running weak batteries can hurt the esc causing it to fail...ATM i am still using the traxxas 7 cell 3000mah battery....i always heard with nimh batteries its best to run them all the way down before charging them....so these two things seem to contradict each other....i don't want to hurt my esc or motor by running the battery to low on power...but like i said thats what i have understood to do with these type of batteries....hoped you guys could steer me in the right direction....thanks

Run the NiMH packs all the way down. What damages the ESCs is a weak current not voltage.

ok thanks thats what i thought and thats what i've been doin...
