Its my understanding that the baffle in theory shortens the pipe. In turn this increases the back-pressure / shortens the timing of the exhaust impulses. Doing this will add more low end torque.
Opening it up will have the same effect as adding a longer pipe thus decreasing the low end torque and increasing the high-end output.
This is my understanding please research this and correct me if I have a miss understanding.

I think dual chamber is better if that's what you mean, but I have never heard of a dual baffle? I am still trying to understand fully how the pipe works with the engine. I get the basics of it but the internals shape and contents are still a puzzle to me.
