The stock pipe that came with my Inferno Sports has a baffle in it....Do I need it? Would removing it give me more power?

I don't know about that enigne and pipe, but I remember that it helped with my old pro.15 on my first gen tmaxx

It will be louder and alow more back pressure which allows the engine to suck more fuel and air in so I say it would work, but I really don't know.

if that's the case, why is a dual baffle better than a normal pipe? I'm not saying it is, I just heard that dual baffle was better.

Wouldnt removing the baffle "reduce" the backpressure??

Its my understanding that the baffle in theory shortens the pipe. In turn this increases the back-pressure / shortens the timing of the exhaust impulses. Doing this will add more low end torque.

Opening it up will have the same effect as adding a longer pipe thus decreasing the low end torque and increasing the high-end output.

This is my understanding please research this and correct me if I have a miss understanding.

I think dual chamber is better if that's what you mean, but I have never heard of a dual baffle? I am still trying to understand fully how the pipe works with the engine. I get the basics of it but the internals shape and contents are still a puzzle to me.

Yeah with the baffle in place it creates a Dual chamber pipe. I'll try to take some pics if no-one has ever seen one.

I still have not found any info on why this is better...but I'll keep looking.
