Bad day turned good

Well today I found out I had a broken pipe under my house.The pipe was feeding my hot water tank so I go shut off the water at the main. I crawl under the house look at the pipe Its copper of course I don't have any thing around to fix it.So I call a plumber Well an old handy man.He comes out looks at it and says he will be right back.he comes back fixes the broken pipe the job takes about 3 and a half hours to fix.Its saterday and the hole time Iam thinking the bill is going to be around 200$ to 300 bucks.
This guy comes in to the house and I ask him well how much do I owe you.
He says 47$ I was like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your kidding me a plumber on a saterday afternoon.. I was so happy I handed him a check for 100$...
And he tryed to give it back to me!!! I was like no way and thank you have a wonderful day..

There are still great people around that won't screw you.

Iam going to hire him this summer to replace all the windows in my house.
What a great man Ill aways remember what he has done for me..

I did a lot of plumbing work in New York, and I never had the heart to screw people just because it was a weekend or in the middle of the night. When they called, they already had enough problems.
A couple of years ago and old woman left me $500 in her will because I always refused anything extra she ever offered me.
You're a lucky man to have found that guy. They are a rare breed.

Holy cow rolex you must be a genious, 4 years old and already a plumber? That was definatly a good find Olds. I'm lucky I have an uncle that is a plumber, my dad is an electrician, and both my dad and father in law are jack of all trades.

I use Flex-Straws from my chocolate milk and hold them together with melted Crayons.
Boy, you don't have to be a genious to figure THAT out.

i think the older they are the cheaper they are they are still charging the 1970 prices...i go up aginst some older guys in some of my bids they will win of course because they are so cheap but it will take him 2 months to finish the job so i win all the bids while he's working....cracks me up..
