Hey guys,
I'm pretty new to this rcnt and r/c in general and got a ? I've noticed that not many here like cen ,in fact some hate.I own a revo 2.5 w/ all aftermarket parts and the os 18tm, and I also own a cen genesis .46 that I bash around with. I bought the cen knowing little if none about r/c but just thought it looked cool and wanted something diffrent than my friends.I've put this truck through some hell in the last 6 months and only managed to break a upper suspesion arm just recently.I'm thinking about adding a buggy to my arsenal but with all the talk, I'm unsure what to go with. Is cen honestly that bad?(Am I just stupid for going that way or what) :stupid: ) I've been reading alot of threads and learned tons already!! Remember I'm new so lots of input would be awsome!!!:help:

oops I ment to say many here DON'T like cen.Sorry! :surrender Probably should have posted this in general r/c talk.

Well I can say nothing about the CEN only that the general view of CEN is not that high. I cal tell you that the Matrix buggy is a pretty stout looking rig. I got to see it at RCX and it had the usual bling that most of the top buggies have. I think for you , the RTR would be great. I would get one to be different but I don't need another buggy to spend on. Just more money. :seeing_stars:

If youve had good luck with your cen, then ya might as well try a buggy too. Personally I think there is probably a lower end cen, and a higher end cen stuff (Like most other brands) and the higher end stuff might not be as bad. I was just told when I entered the hobby to skip looking at cens, and havnt heard to many good things about them. Good to hear your having good luck though. And welcome to the site!

my friend got a cen matrix. It looks nice. but it seems to break alot, but thats probly just him.

The story I was told, is that CEN originally had a lot problems with part quality and bad service. The heads of the company didn't like it so they replaced a lot of people and turned the company around. The Matrix is their result. The story came from the guy at my LHS.
Don't know if it's true, but my buddy has the CEN Matrix buggy. It's been a really good one and he drives it hard. I haven't seen anything to make me not want one, comes with many aluminum parts that are upgrades to a lot of buggys. I'd say go with it.

Ya know... I've been shopping on line for replacement parts(not that I need any yet) and have noticed that they are more spendsive than other makes. Engine for sure! Well.. like Talon One says....It Is What It Is, and I have a blast when I go bash so I guess thats all that matters to me.Heck...I might just go with a matrix..we'll see. Thanks for all the input guys..appreciate every bit, good or bad!!
