When I run my truck and I touch the throttle it doesn't respond immediately and I have to push the throttle a little farther or hold the throttle for maybe half a second to a second before it takes off.. what do I do to get it to respond quicker? and it's not a problem with the radio signal i'm positive.

Oh, sorry by clutch I meant throttle, I don't know why I put that.. And If i hit the throttle it doesn't take off when I hit the gas, so I have to push a little farther on the throttle before it takes off, like its not responding immediately like it should.

Well, one more time...does the engine rev and the car takes a while to start, or is the engine stubborn and sluggish getting the RPMs up?

Another thing could be that your receiver batteries are low. That happen to me. The throttle was very slow and late responsive. So i completley took apart my carb and replace the RX batteries with fresh ones.

Why is it everyone elses build makes mine look like a retarded kid put it together with 40-ft of wire and 2-squillion zip ties ;)

I don't even know where to begin... Help Rolex, I can't come up with anything!

The engine does rev up before it takes off, Rolex, and the spur gear in the middle spins quicker when i hit the throttle, and when i get to 3/4 throttle, the wheels finally start to spin, but barely, I have no clue what the problem is.. but the main thing here is that the differential is ticking like mad now, it can barely move because the ticking is so bad, I'm taking apart my entire truck to get to the differential and fix this problem!!!! Here's what I did in about 45 mins or so of procrastination and complaining;

If you have any tips I will GLADLY take them!!!

It sound like you DEFINITELY have your slipper set too loose. That's the spur gear. You are bringing up your RPMs without transferring the power to the trans soon enough.
Work on your diff, then tighten your slipper, then give us an update.

Oh, c'mon Rolex, you know i'm new at this! how do I tighten the slipper? and I've got a new problem.. how can i get the co-axle that goes to the wheels (not the middle long driveshaft) out of the differential in the back? thanks.

There should be a screw holding it on the diff shaft on all three shafts. Take out the screw and the shaft should detach from the diff. It's not like an 1/8 scale diff, the shafts are actually shafts with gears on the ends inside the diff and the cups come off the shaft. With all the 1/8 scale stuff I've worked on, they are built the exact opposite... yay traxxas for being different!

However, I found that it was kind of nice to be able to replace an axle or CVD cup without dismantling the diff...
