I just can't see wandering the streets with my rc's in a shopping cart looking for a place to plug in my charger. Gotta keep the home functioning. 🤣
Squatters have rights.
They still make 'em! Only about $30 on Amazon.

If it was one block yes. I had bad luck with these where they screw together. Besides I need new tires..... looks like $140 is the cheapest I can find, but will opt a few more for some aggressive lugs.

It does makes me cringe thinking these pedals will cause serious pain and damage should I slip off and take them on the shins...or any other body parts!

Want me to answer that? First five minutes of a ride. My buddy thought I was gonna go home. Nope, I'm already bleeding, we're getting in our ride.

Between work and rain, I haven't been able to get any ride time in. Still want to do a thorough cleaning of the bike as well, but haven't been able to really do that either. I want to clean the bike before I put on the new tires. I have, however, been able to order a few things for it online.
I just got home about 30 minutes ago, and got delivery on my new bling pedals. Popped them on and took a test ride around the house. They look fantastic, lightweight, and really grab my shoes. They're also wider than my original pedals, so it's more comfortable having more real estate to stand on. I use the spike pedals myself and usually don't slip off of them.
The problem for me however is walking a few steps and it grabs the back of my legs.

Your's probably did have sharper teeth, but nowadays, it would be a huge liability. Remember when we had real metal tip lawn darts that could puncture a skull?
Lawn Darts, Proof that humans can not be trusted with anything. Even a game.

Oh yeah. We had a set we used to throw at each other.

The best games starts with someone saying, "Watch this ya'll!"

Wasn't that the actual design of lawn darts?

Yeah. We threw at the included plastic circles for a few minutes. After that, the lawn darts became missles. We targeted everything from trees, cans, each other, sheets of plywood, etc. One was even stuck in the roof of my dad's garage 🤫 until we got the ladder and got it down. My dad would have killed us! But we were familiar with patching and tarring a roof, so I filled the hole with some tar while I was up there. Fun times.

Worth every penny. My shins are bald from wearing them, everyone used to ask why I shaved part of my legs. 🤣
Don't ask US why you shave your legs.

But, everybody needs a hobby :p:p:p

After reading this post, I've decided to return the shin guards, and just deal with painful, bloody shins. At least, this way, I still have some hair left and keep my masculinity.

I rode 3.7 miles today before my legs gave out. I have a long ways to go to get back into shape.
I walked 10.4 feet before mine gave out 😜

Just take it nice and easy, TP. Don't over do it and hurt yourself.

It's been pretty wet here, so no riding for me. Those trails are going to be messy for awhile once this wet stuff moves through. It's a good thing since I finally degreased and cleaned the drive train and washed the entire bike. 😆
