wow i can't paint at all. i would post some pics of my works of art but that would be more embarrasing than a governer cought with a call girl

Hey mel first off sweet paint work. I couldn't paint if my life depended on it.
How much would something like that red, silver, and black body run???

Jman .. $50 for the paint and plus the cost of the body
Rolex.. i never liked the trigger style one but to each their own.. but they do look cooler

I'm used to triggers on auto guns and touch-up guns, and always wished I could find an airbrush setup with a trigger. But yeah, it's all a matter of preference and what you get used to.
I don't know what the difference is between the one I linked to and the other one for almost $100 more.

Same here .. been painting cars for s dealership for about 11 years now and I like the feel of the trigger style on my sata minijet but didn't like it on the brush .. weird but again it's what feels good to you ..I know Mac tools has one like that for 300 but it's most likely a cheaper (and by cheaper i mean cheaply made)version of it .

I'm gonna' have to locate that Iwata so I can physically 'feel' it in my hand. You never know if you like it till you've held it.
Do you happen to know of any distributors that would have it in store?

Rolex, check fine art supply stores. There's on a few blocks from my office that caters to all the fine arts students at SU and some of the other small colleges here in the city. Usually they have Iwata airbrushes in the case when I go to get paint. The cool thing is they sell all sorts of Createx paints at low prices.

WOW, THANK YOU, Candyman. Boy, am I stupid! I know of 3 art supply stores within a 5 mile radius, and it never dawned on me to check them out for R/C paints or supplies. I'm also less than 3 miles from UT and the part of Knoxville that caters to their needs.
I've been stuck with what HobbyTown USA carries and charges.
