Painted up a Ad2 body too but it looks the same

looks awesome. Never have painted a body myself. What do use to mask for say the green lines around the windows? A liquid mask or tapes, or both?

Matrix...I use all liquid mask then just cut the lines out
Lessen..thanks!

Good to see you back on the brush. Great work as always. Keep them coming!

So you just paint the liquid mask on and then cut out your lines with a super sharp blade or hobby knife? The unwanted areas then just peel off ready for spraying?

Does it cut through to the polycarbonate, or do you just have to be careful to not cut too deep?

Matrix,
Liquid mask is like a rubber film. You paint 3-4 heavy coats inside the body. After it dries, you just use a regular hobby knife to cut the design. Light pressure is all that's needed to cut through the film and shouldn't really leave any significant marring on the polycarbonate. Then just peel each area as you apply colors and it's done. It takes a little practice, but it's a very easy way to paint.

Cheers for that, I will most definitely give it a shot when I do my first body.

What Candyman said..
I use a brush to paint it in some guys airbrush it in but i never had any luck doing that always seemed thin..one thing to do too is after you get the desired thickness let it dry a day then draw it out then cut ..always seems better to cut after a good day of dring

And thanks guys .. been tring to get some more done but new job eats up alot of time ..once spring hits i'll have more time ..

Another Quickie for a buddy..
