B4 Buggy not so great

I bought the B4 buggy for off road racing. It was all over the track.
I need to do some heavy mods to get it to stay put.
Slides all over. anyone else have this problem?

By slides all over, what do you mean? What type of track surface are you running on?

hard packed dirt. can't get traction

I think you should get some better tires and put the battery back farther

I have brand new pro line evil twins, Hole shots, and losi's
version of the twins.. all new. the battery is back as far as it goes

I'm going to change the foam inserts. thats what someone advised.
and the set up..

How tight do you have the slipper also?

i have it set up good now... it was the tire foams

You could also get tires with a lot of traction to help it stay out even better. it will probably not slip at all.
