Super 8 axle installed. Terrible pic. No idea why my phone all of a sudden decided to put a glow on this pic.

I will have to do some slight trimming, or limit the steering a tad. But clearance with the steering at full lock is a lot better than I thought it would be.

Note:
If using the EcoPower WP173-X24 servo with the included horn on the LGRP Super 8 axle, you will have to grind the back face of the horn down (where the link screws to it) so the screw going through the tie rod link doesn't grind against the differential. The tip of the horn is just a tad too thick.

A little finishing work on the wingnut.

Coated the wingnut with resin and cured it.

Next up after it sits under the lights and hardens a bit is to chrome it with the Molotow pen.

As much as you've cussed this build, I'm curious to see what nickname it ends up with! 🤣
Problem Child would be at the top of that list for sure. But now, nearly every part has been replaced or upgraded. And I've had every screw in and out at least 3 times. So I don't think there can be any other problems that I have missed. Now comes the fun bit.

But my Treal wheels... the second time ordering them, and they are backordered again on freakin' Amazon of all places. Says mid January. So I just cancelled them... again

Good, now you can get to that sct 😜😂
I will be putting the Rey back together first. Only thing I am waiting on is wheel nuts of all things. I have shiney stainless M5 locknuts, but my OCD won't let me use them. I have to break out my soldering iron on that one, so I need a clear bench. And if I start another project, my workbench is going to murder me in my sleep. I gotta get that monster out of my way.

Front body mount design. These will be magnetic mounts.

Bosses are at a compound angle, which hopefully matches the underside of the hood.

Impressive work 👍
Thanks Warby. Means a lot coming from a guy with some sick rides like yours. It's getting there, and I just remembed this truck came with a roll bar that I just test fit into the scrap of bed I have left, and it's going to look great. Will be working on getting that glued in next.

Nerf bars are done.

Rear cab filler with magnet pockets. This will also locate the cab of the truck once I design a filler for the bed. The circular bosses will set in bosses on the bed filler.
