Hello all!!

What type of battery are you guys running with this set up?

I was thinking of going Lipo and was curious to know what mah would be appropriate.

thanks!

how's the run time on that? The 6c 7.2 stick battery they recomend can only really be mounted mid chassy, so I'm looking to the smaller lighter Lipos to mount on the unused servo mount.

bout an hour...... give or take 10 min..

Best battery mounting option i have found with a small lipo.

what esc are you running? i personally run 3s lipo, prefer it over 2s, you get alot more torque and alot more wheel speed too but it will depend on your esc if you can run 3s or not. or even lipo at all for that matter.

I'm running the rooster crawler, it only is setup for a 2s. Havent decided what imma get for my scx10, (getting tommorrow) i want somthing to handle a 3s with a lvc........

Thanks guys. One more questions about the bead locks.

When you look at the rim head on, there's a channel that runs just beyond the 6 holes for the screws, is this where the tire secures into? I ask because if you push the tire beyond this point and catch the bead behind the rear of the front face of the rim, the bead lock ring doesn't secure any part of the rubber. not sure if the ring is for show.

Thanks

depending on your tire, it should have a lip that fits between the rim and the ring that will be pinched when you tighten them, if you have an axial scorpion the beadlocks are real.
