average battery run time??

Ok so..i got my jato on jan 9th , and ran AA's for a month before even having the slightest hint of needing to change them. a couple weeks ago the lower screw in the battery compartment stripped and started pushing against the DIFF gear.not good..lol. I i took it off and found out NO ONE out here has a replacement compartment, but i am told to switch to a flat pack, its easier.

So i buy some VENOM 1.2v sub C cells and make myself a pack. Put it in and drove the car for about 3hours and it died. I put it on my intellipeak charger and it discharged and recharged failry quick , yet battery still dies in about 2hours of play.

I also bought a revo and its pack lasts even less time. WHat is the average run time on these packs ? doesn't seem right that 4 AA's can last a month solid and these things can't run more than 1 day if that.

by the way ..this is my new home. traxxas banned me for repeatedly using words like , CRAP , DAMN , screw it...my god i know there is a language filter but even regular tv uses worst language....sigh.

LOL.. Well I got banned for asking why Traxxas refuses to make a big block, and then talking about dropping a .21 in my Tmaxx. No swears or anything. No warning. Ban.. doesn't really bother me anyway, there forums and mods blow.

Anyway about your battery. I just had my 1st runs with my new hump yesterday (Its a 1100Mah noname I got off ebay) and I ran just under 6 tanks in the last two days and shes still going strong. I also havnt put in a switch yet (I have to unplug it) so its been on longer than needed.. I dont really know what to tell ya. Just thought Id share my experiance with ya. Welcome to the boards !

welll asking traxxas why they dont make a big block..i could see maybe they consider BASHING traxxas....and about the .21 , what brand was it ? that was another thing i had asked someone what was better a revo or LST2...so i got points for mentioning the other brand..LAME. AT least i can just go back there and read. I dont need to post.
