wow... Insurance companies (and most people) will believe a lot of things. The computers in these cars make anything possible, because computers are so common nowadays. I always knew there was a way to break in to the newer cars, and someone would figure it out, but i did not know that the insurance companies relied on those systems to make it impossible to steal. Crazy.

Ins Company's will look for any way not to pay... but they will gladly except your payments every month until the day you die.....
 
And sometimes beyond the day you die.

I'm glad I used to drive a 92 olds. So far as I knew, that car had no such security device.

And when I finally get another vehicle, it won't have that system in it.
 
Insurance companies have always been the worst thieves around, but to insist that a car can't be stolen is just crazy. Great article though.
