Why does this roller keep calling my name?

I've heard about them they were originally sold as an RTR but they had outdated electronics and they used Deans plugs on it which for a 6s car is pretty much unacceptable they would melt straight off the wires or cause a fire. So they're now selling them as a rolling chassis for $400 which isn't too bad although i would still buy an Arrma Felony for a similar price when you fit your electronics also the Arrma has way better parts support and better upgradability vs the SR7. It's a neat car if you're looking for something neat to street bash and display.

Yeah, Tower had a flash sale on them today for $322, but I decided against it... my Corally Asuga XLR with street tires moves fast enough for me. Doesn't look as cool as the Hoon 'stang, but... I'll just close my eyes when I run it... what could go wrong?

That's cool, I didn't know they were on sale for that low although i don't shop on Tower i mostly do Amain since they have Traxxas stuff and i heard somewhere Tower doesn't do Traxxas anymore.

Yea probably bc Horizon took over Tower, and ruined it to pieces like they usually do, also Horizon hates Traxxas and they are afraid of getting sued by them so. I feel them.

I like both brands but i kind of like Horizon more cause of Arrma and Spektrum. Also i heard about the story of the time traxxas tried to sue Arrma back in the Hobbico days when they produced a truck known as the Nero which had similar suspension design to the E-Revo, Nitro Revo and the Summit. It cut Hobbico down and then Horizon bought them out in 2018. But i will admit some of the cars and trucks they've produced in the past few years have been incredible like the Infraction, Limitless and the 8s Kraton and Outcast and many others. Call me an Arrma\Horizon\Spektrum fanboy now i don't care since they're stuff is awesome imo. It starts to make some Traxxas cars look obsolete.

Yea I agree with that. Arrma, Losi, spektrum and Axial is the only good horizon owned brands in the surface RC world. Everything else side brands are left in the dust and/or ruined over, ie proline, trinity and tlr.

Traxxas on the other hand they are ok, they might seem obsolete like you said but they keep it that way and rarely do they make huge changes to their models so they continue parts support for them and have years of overall support. For example the 2wd lineup has been majority the same for over 20 years
