I found out that there is a cheaper Typhon model. The 3s V3 that has 350$. I probably going to buy this one and upgrade it slowly. I have heard it has great durability and handles pretty good. It's a 2020 model. Does anyone has an opinion on that RC?

The guys running the Arrma 3s rigs seem to love them. The 3s line is less expensive to repair and due to the weight difference do not break as often as the 6s line. I have a 6s Typhon, but use it mainly for running on the street. I also have an Arrma 6s Mojave that I use for the dirt.

Arrma is supposed to be releasing a new 4s lineup in the next month or two, if your not in a hurry there maybe something cool just around the corner. Most likely you will want a second vehicle soon anyway so why wait?

Thanks a lot for the heads up I will look into the 4s right away

Love my typhon 3s. I'm pretty hard on it and it takes a beating. Finally cracked the chassis on a 20 ft. Jump at a skate park. New chassis are on backorder and can't wait to get the new one. Only mods I have done are hub extended. It gives the car a lower stance and increased stability.

I just bought myself a 3s too and it goes like a charm. I am going to run it in the dirt track today. I am going to inform you how it went. On the upgrades I have a lot in my mind but I am going to do them as soon as I broke something. Like the stearing parts and so on.

Yep, my son on track, but...

He's (Typhoon 3s) a bit lightweight and a bit too much bouncing on landing. We added weight with metal diff, stick weight, brace and we drop suspension.
Even with all that, the 6s alu chassis will give you a better "driveability" for a 10 laps race.

Some different springs and thicker shock oil can help with that bounciness

I am hoping to get the Arrma Typhon 3s blx v3 for my 13th birthday :thumbs-up::):):thumbs-up::D

I have the Mega version but love it. I wanted to go cheap and mod it to something really impressive and honestly I am. It's fully capable of running 4s but handles great and plenty fast on 3s.

There is mine. I got it and I am in love with it. I run it on the track 2-3 times already but my job has sent me on a business trip and now I cannot wait to get back and drive it again. You will love it too I am sure of it. And happy Soon birthday 🎁🎉
