thanks for the advice, i may try that in the future.
Just bear in mind that the stock electronics are only recommended to run on up to 3S max. Running it on 4S or higher can damage the electronics and even if it doesn't ruin them it will certainly shorten their life span.

Meaning no disrespect, but I'm going on 18 months with a couple rigs running 4s on the 3200kv motors. My senton fried a front motor bearing after at least 30 4s packs. My son's Turphon has at least 50 packs on 4s with the 3200kv blx motor (I can't understand how that thing still runs. It has the factory servo still, and it's been on mx28's most of its life!). My spare parts typhon has been running 6s as a speed rig for almost a year- but only I've only put 20-25 packs through it on 6s. It's had more time on 4s for sure.
Don't forget, just because you put a 120a (4s) or a 150a (6s) esc in there doesn't mean you can't keep running 3s, too. Having a bigger esc even gives you a slight torque advantage with 3s.
My overall experience with arrma has made me not trust their 3s esc's in general. The first time I went bigger with an esc was because the blx100 fried too soon, warranty was on backorder, and jennys had blx120's and 185's in stock. I don't see a downside to running a bigger esc on any basher nowadays. The only time I'm concerned with keeping my esc minimal is on a lightweight crawler.
