April 3rd- Dirtrunners, NJ Bash

Here's the dirtrunners track as of yesterday 3/24/05 around 2PM :(

I give it til the 3rd or 4th week of April for that track to be ready.

I went to Sparta HS, And Votech.
class of 84.

I'm 32...I graduated in 90. Probably had some of the same teachers though.


Now for the track...we did have alot of snow melt today. I'll go check it out again on Sunday and see if there's any hope in sight.

snow or not, i dont care, the savage is weatherproofed. that just means no truggy or XB8 for the day.
 
Wayne,Mark and I will be there on one of the 2 work weekends.Wayne is the track going to be the same layout as of last year?How about a little change,with a nice table top,a couple of nice jumps and some good drainage.It's almost race season and we are ready to go. :smoke:

The track is looking promising!! It's supposed to be on the warmer side all week, so it should be in good shape by Sunday.

Can you please check the track Saturday and post a pic. I don't want to drive all the way up there just to find a mud bowl. I can use FM 63 or FM 87.

11 AM and it's in the city. No chance for me to make this one. My cousin will kill me if I show up to the wedding with my brothers savage in tote!
 
I'm about 40 mins from the track...my 7 day forecast :) tells me that obviously rain today...and tuesday too...on wed and thurs it'll be sunny...but fri, Sat and Sun = Rain ...thats sucks ( x )
 
Rain! poop! Hopefully it will miss. If not, we'll move it back a week.
 
Well the good news is all the snow is gone...bad news is as everyone suspects, it's drenched with water! I'll go down and check out the track on Wed, and see how it looks. Saturday also :)

If so, I think that's the first work weekend for the track. Probably not much running, but it would be nice for everyone to lend a hand :cheers:
