I read a lot about how good O'Donnell fuel is. I would get some instead of traxxas.

Especially if its cheaper.

Thats what I thought.. Couldn't believe it was cheaper... I still have about a gallon of traxxas left.. I haven't had to buy fuel because both of my revos came with almost a gallon of fuel apeice..
I was just thinking that with all my heat issues it wouldn't hurt to get some fresh fuel...

I've used it and it works just as well as blue thunder raceing fuel. there about the same in my opinion but i have only used those 2 kinds so can't tell you rilly how good they are because i dont have much to compart it against.

NC How does it compare to the Trinity brand?

Trinity monster was the only other fuel I would use, Trinity makes very good fuel too. I really like them both, but I think I like Odonnel just a little more. But if I could not get it I would have no problem going back to Trinity Monster 20%

I use it in all my rigs as well. Great fuel. I'm trying Byron's 25% now....have yet to run a tank with it though. I just polished off the last of my gallon of O'Donnell.

What they said :)

I use O'Donnell 20% in all of my non-racing cars and have been very happy with it. Very consistent blends & smell isn't eye-watering. Definitely a good choice for bashers. Blows away Traxxas.

For my race rigs (buggy/truggy) I started with O'Donnell 30% but recently switched to Blue Thunder 30% race blend. Much more snap to it and tends to run cooler so I can lean it out a bit more for performance compared to the O'Donnell.

However, I'm thinking of switching again to Torco. The track I run with just became a distributor and Torco has been getting rave reviews. Some of the sponsored team racers have been trying it out and really love it. They're relatively new to the RC fuel world but have been doing drag/top fuel for 20 years and really do their homework.

Great info guys..i think Traxxas fuel was part of an engine problem i had in my buggy - switching to O'Donnel myself...

I usually run byrons 20% and 30% mixed 50/50. But my LHS was out of both and only had odonnels 20 and 30 available. So I currently have two gallons on a shelf waiting for me to run. I'll have to pay attention to see if I notice a difference.

I used to run trinity MHP but tried the byrons because it was cheaper and now I proffer it. Seemed to run smoother and the smoke didn't burn my eyes as much.

I am new to the hobie myself. But I really like odonnells. Doesn't burn my eyes and seems to be consistent as others have said.
