anyone tried Kyosho 3.5mm shocks?

I can't remember for sure but I think the lengths are the same. The thicker shaft is definitely the way to go though. Especially if you plan on big air. I saw a guy bend 3 Kyosho shock shafts at the track on his RTR 7.5.

I've got the Kyosho 3.5 on the front of my Inferno and the threaded 3.5 from the Ofna 9.5 on the rear. The shock travel is almost 1/4 inch longer with the Ofnas and they are $5-$6 cheaper for the set (and much easier to find by me). So far I've had no problems with either ones. I have bent all four of the 3.0 shafts from the 7.5 kit so I definitely recommend upgrading to the 3.5 ones. Not only are the shock shafts slightly larger in diameter but so are the shock bodies. You may have to slightly mod the lower control arm to fit the Ofna pivot ball at the bottom end of the shock shaft. Its sems to be a few millimeters larger than the Kyosho ones.

robreguez, I wnt to the ofna site, and its weird. I can't find complete shocks, just separate numbers for every little piece.

I heard somewhere else that there is a 3.5 mm shaft available for storm shocks.

if ya check on ebay, peeps are selling complete new mugen and kani shocks all the time on there
