Hey guys,

It has been like three years since I have been on the mountain boarding and today I went and made it happen. I had a bunch of fun. I love the Northwest there is skiing and boarding available here 250 days a year. That being said I think I want to get back into it a little bit more. For anyone such as myself that is not fit what kinds of exercising do you guys do to help aid making it an easier day on the Mountain?? Let me tell you I frickin hurt all over right now and am sore as hell. Still had a great time though.

hey i snowboard. Love doing rails and stuff but riding down is fun. I've had plenty of hard falls and stuff. But in NJ i only have a few months to do it. Your lucky, i'd love to snowboard all the time. how old r u?? and do u have aim or aol??

Drkman: I am 28 and I usually yahoo more than anything but I do have AIM as well.

Wannarunnem: if you feel so inclined I would love it if you did that. Honestly. Pm me and I'll give you my veritables.

I'm typically somewhat of an avid skiier during the winter months. Skiing on almost any terrain and I've done some boarding over past few years. A gym will help prior to and durring the season along with a good series of stretching execises it will be even better. I suggest picking up a good book on Yoga (don't laugh). The advanced stretching techniques will help minimize the risk of serious injury when you do your next face plant or have a garage sale down the the north slope. Any form of martial arts would also be a good choice. I water skiied in the summer until recently selling my boat.

Stretch thanks for the good info. I know I need to get my fat ass back on some weight machines and such. I can't even begin to tell you how bad I hurt right now. Laterz

You have young age on your side. Try getting up in the morning after a spectacular 200' tumble on a gs course at mach whatever. It gets way more critical at my age.

LOL Yeah I would've been ok if I had been even in some what ok shape but I never work out at all. So this is why I hurt so bad right now. Oh well enough whining and just getting to it. Later
