Anyone put portals on their SCX10 Pro?

I did, way better ground clearance, noticeable improvement in crawling. Added brass to the front from axial. Gear noise isn't terrible, but there. None of the screws had loctite. Broke an axle-side rear portal housing (plastic) when I got bound up in a hole, only replacement currently is oem plastic. Otherwise no complaints, welcome addition

I wonder if you could buy these and do the install without buying the complete portal from axial?

You can, 100%. These came out before axial released their portal axle set.

Just reviewed my truck, axial portal set, treal inner+ outer brass portal cover in the front. probably spent more than I needed to 🤷‍♂️
