Does anyone here paint bodies for memebers? Is there any good websites that sell prepainted bodies? I've done some serching on my own and found a couple but not many. I know everyone says that doing body work is half the fun of the RC hobby but I'll admit I have no interest in it. Wrenching and driving is what I'm drawn to. I have 0 talent for painting and I'll just make a mess of it.

Post up or pm me if you do it or know someone. I'm looking for a Dallas Cowboys theme with silver/navy blue/white as the paint scheme. I can add decals later. Thanks!!

Here are a few of the painters on this board.

BuggyRacer
4U2nv
ncnitro
candyman
imbroken

I'm sure there are more these are just off the top of my head.

cool, thanks man. I'll look up their user profiles and see if they have websites or just contact them here.

omfg what a mixup.. haha i really meant to say thanks vb (listing me). Andy, thank you for......uh being awesome haha

 hey man, I paid you $70 over a month ago, Have you even started painting my body???

And THIS is exactly why I don't paint bodies for hire!

Monkey Wrench paid me more than that, a lot longer than that ago. Although his is very detail oriented, and I have many many hours in his, I also had to move while doing it, packing up and unpacking everything I own, including all my paint gear, fortunately he has been way more than patient, and it will show in the final product. I'm sure you will be happy with what buggyracer paints for you, just be patient, quality custom lids take a bit of time, unless of course you want a rattle can quickie.

^Werd.. I'm in the middle of painting one for RevoMe, which is a pretty detailed lid. Its been taking me a while to get it done between work and stuff, but hes been MORE than patient. In the end, he'll get a kick ass original lid. Just be patient. Buggy wont leave ya hanging, and in the end you'll be happy.

I made sure all the lines were as perfect as possible, so it took a little longer than usual.. Ill be painting 4 lids including yours all day tomorrow, and i hope to get them all done. The last 2 bodies I painted, I had to buy 2 whole new bodies because the guy was "unhappy" with them....... i am sick of it. I'm pretty much done with orders unless I am friends with the customer. Ebay from now on.

That's some BS bro. I hate to hear that you guys spend so much time on these bodies only for somebody to complain about it. That's the thing about custom.. not everybody's tastes are the same. Did that guy give you complete freedom of creation or did he outline some things he wanted done?
