Anyone know about the X-ray XT8-24?

I would probably consider Xray as high end as you could get. They always sling that luxury term around. Is that a good thing? Even their website oozes a lot of painstaking work put into it. I was shocked to see Psycho Nitro Blast's breakdown of the brands used at the race though.
Whoa, surprised X-ray was larger than TLR. Sad to see tlr slip so far

You can use whatever body you want to put on your etruggy. I’ve been very happy so far with my tekno, yes I changed the body. I’m see you prefer the older style body. Which I do like, just went with the newer style for performance benefits.

I do not mind the new style but something about the other truggy style tickles me in funny places

Look at @Littlemotor 's Tekno builds they are legit awesomeness.

I found this for $450 used at my local shop and I'm going to get it if it's there on Friday

hmm, from the 4 I have built kyosho, team associated, mugen, tekno. my next one will be an xray they all cost about the same and they are roughly all the same with each having their unique nuances and quirks. my mugen has been the one with least problems running wise, my tekno engineering wise they put a lot of thought into it, the team associated has a lot of configurations depending on how you want to run the chassis. my buddies enjoy my kyosho the most but that is because I figured out how to make that into a Baja Bug and everyone wants to run the beetle when I bring out the cars. the only thing I do not like about my kyosho is the lack of parts for it. not many aftermarket hopups such as bodies.

Sorry, had to be done! 🤣

The bug bodies always make me happy!

For vintage Kyosho body options you can try Marwan.

For tons of body options and just AWESOME ppl to deal with, teambluegroove.com has TONS of bodies!
You can contact them directly if you are unsure about a fit. They are VERY good with customer service!!! They are a small shop tho so not always ultra fast response.
I have a bunch if their lexan. The quality is top notch. Well worth any waiting! Also, they are in Canada so the web site prices are actually lower if you're ordering from US. 😎

Welcome to RCTALK.COM BTW!!! 😁👍

When you get it, open that box up and head on over to RC Builds and Projects
