Anybody know of a good screw driver set for slash 4x4 under $30? I'm looking for one that won't just end up being cheap metal that will strip an ruin my screws.

best of the best tools would be MIP, but given they are around 15-20$ per driver is along the steeper side of pricing.
i purchased a set of Dynamite Machined hex metric driver kit almost a year ago and have been super pleased with how well they work, even on areas that are known to easily strip screws.

those sizes should cover most of the hex screws that are on the truck.
if you are talking about phillips drivers, i have been using one i bought from i believe home depot many years back. biggest thing is you want hardened steel tip. also make sure you are using the correct size, most I've noticed have been #0, and #1. but some especially servo horn screws can be #00.
any machine thread screw you have i highly advise to replace with a hex screw as (with the right tools) are alot less likely to strip and be susceptible to the head getting damaged and difficult to remove.

If by screw driver set you really mean screw driver then check out Wera screwdriver set.

Otherwise if you're talking about a hex driver set, then without a doubt save a little longer if you need to and get an MIP hex driver set.

MIP's. Buy once and save in the long run on both stripped screws and worn tips. I use the speed bits and am hard pressed to find anything that holds up as well: https://www.amazon.com/MIP-Metric-Speed-Tip-MIP9512/dp/B00D7DJVEI

I recently bought a shorter set at $5 a piece from PB-Swiss:

I don't have a lot of time on those though. I got them so they would fit in the handle in my pit bag. The metal seems very hard, so I'm guessing I'll get my $5 worth out of each tip over time. You would likely need only 3:

Then you could get a cheap lithium driver on amazon:

Or save up and get a good one with a clutch. I have the milwaukee M12 and love it.
