Anybody know how long USPS takes?

The guy I'm trading with gave me a tracking code right after he shipped it. I checked the code and it says that there's no info available, either wrong code or too early to post info if shipped recently. He gave me the code yesterday night, people say that it takes about 24 hrs. to put in the info. I'll ask him if he gave it to me wrong too. Any ideas how long it should take for the info to posted up?

same thing happened to me. the item i sent didnt show up in the tracking data base for about 1.5 days, but the guy that i was trading withs stuff came right up. it looked like i didnt send my package, but i did.. to clear it up, i went staight home and took a picture of the tracking reciept and sent it to him. we both mailed our package on thursday and recieved both our packages on saturday morning.. not bad for 500 miles..

I had the same problem, bought from a guy on another forum. He game me a tracking number and it didn't show up and I was suspicisous. It finally showed up on the second day and I saw that everything was ok.

A lot of the tracking numbers given by USPS are only to check for and confirm delivery. No data is entered until delivered.

Oh okay. Wish he used UPS to ship it, I used UPS to ship it to him and when I got home the tracking code started to work (Billing Info. Received.)

It somtimes take a day or so happens to me alot accually

they dont really track it, they just show up when it leaves the facility and after it is delivered...

Ya, the ups tracking system is much better.
