Anybody got a Nintendo DS?

I got my wife one of these the other day for our anniversay. She saw a t.v. commercial about that BrainAge game and decided she wanted one. I was kinda taken aside cuz she's definately not a gamer but I picked one up anyway. These things are waaay cool. Reasonably priced too! I was so impressed I bought one for myself too! We got BrainAge (she's kickin my ass btw :thumbdown: ), Tetris DS, and MarioKart DS. I'm diggin it!

Anybody else?

My daughter got one for her 10th birthday from her mother. But I make sure she brings it with her every weekend she's here. She's into Nintendogs which do nothing for me. But Mario Kart DS is great!

For some reason the kids love the Nintendogs. It's pure genius in a marketing vein. I haven't really played it but it a game where you adopt a dog and then have to feed it and train it and all that. Then you can go to dog shows and earn money to buy more supplies or new dogs. Each game has like 5 different dogs you can have. And here's the genius. If you want other dogs, they sell different games. I think there's 4 or 5 different Nintendogs versions. And you know all the kids are bugging their parents for all 5. There's another $200 out the door!

yeah, that definatley sounds like something kids would dig. I was curious why there were different versions.. definately a money maker there...

My cousin has one and he has that Nintendogs game which I thought was pretty cool. I've been telling him to get mario cart but he likes stupid games..lol

Mario Kart rocks, it has always been one of my all time favorite games. i love how you have to literally blow up your balloons in battle mode.
