Just wondering on your thoughts of putting one of these Li-Fe batteries in my Savage SSX.

I have heard that if you have a 2 cell 7.4v li-po battery powering the servos it is too much voltage and will burn out the servos. These new Li-Fe batteries are rated at 6.6v which is a happy median between the two. Also the discharge of a li-po is 10c minimum. The Li-Fe discharge rate is only 5c. So if I were to put a Li-Fe battery in my savage will it cause my servos to fail prematurely?

Thanks

Bump. Nobudy has any thoughts on using a Li-Fe battery to power the receiver ?

I use a LiFe pack in my Baja's and would do the same in a nitro. They have less voltage than a LiPo so no regulator is required.
