Springfields are GREAT. I got a few buddies who swear by them. I want a Springer, myself. The Kimber works excellent too, though, and I'm really glad i purchased one.

A Weatherby Vanguard .257 mag. topped with a Nikon Pro-Staff 3x9x40, Savage Model 114 .270 topped with a Bushnell Banner Dusk til' down 4x12x40, Savage Model 110 .243 topped with a cheap Tasco 3x9x40, CVA Optima Pro .50 cal muzzle loader topped with a BSA Deer Hunter 3x9x40 Rossi single shot 12 gauge and an "old" Nylon 66 .22 semi

the redhawk is a SWEET gun. i was looking at it seriously a few months ago, and went with the kimber instead because the 1911 is really my first love.

those .44s are MEAN looking beasts.

nice choice. most say that a .44 will drop a good-sized bear quickly, and that a .45 had better be placed well, and likely a few of them.

Yes double action only. Having the hammer completely covered makes it a great little conceal weapon - nothing for the gun to get caught on. The only down side is that's it's light... very light so when you fire it you feel it.

Big difference between firing it and my .40

Yea, my g/f was looking at that exact same model, and the guy behind the counter (very nice and knew his stuff, too) said the same thing. In the end, she liked the feel of the .357 GP100 so we got that.

I'm starting to get the urge to shoot now.
