I love guns, and have quite a few. I'm not one of these wackos who is holed up in my house waiting for the zombies (okay, a little) but I *do* likes me some firearms haha.

Here's my list:

Kimber 1911 model .45, black on black, tactical law enforcement model with a .22 conversion kit in case I just want to plink on the cheap. My favorite gun in the world, by far. 1911s just do it for me.

CZ75 9mm semi-automatic

Ruger .357 revolver, also black on black. Shoots .38 specials or of course .357s, which go *BOOM*. Talk about a hand cannon! :D

Mossberg 500 12 gauge pump. Wood. I'm not a big fan of the black composite stuff. Wooden furniture looks classy. :p:

Ruger 10 .22 rifle with scope and strap. Nothing too special, just a rifle.

I also have a Mossberg .22 rifle with a scope that is really old, but it's at a friend's house I haven't seen in years, so... sigh.

You guys have any?

I have to get pictures up of the other weaponry haha. I lag. :D

Nice collection.

I've had a few. I have a Winchester .22 rifle with scope. Had a .45 HiPoint which turned out to be one of the best guns I've ever owned or ever been around, was very very reliable, never cleaned it one single time and shot box after box after box through it....BUT I've heard alot of people complain about them. I sold it to my dad though.
I started a "jar" saving for a M&P 15-22 though, I really want one.

I also love guns. I shoot trap in the summer. My favorite is my Ithica 20 gauge feather-light. I also have 1903 Springfield it kicks like a mule, 303 British, ruger 10-22, ruger Mark II, and an old winchester lever action rifle. It has an octagon barrel I need to find more out about it its in awesome shape. And also a hand full of old shot guns that I don't shoot. When I can afford it I want to get a bigger pistol but I love my little mark II its cheap to shoot and has the long barrel installed.

Cool! That is a lot of guns hahaha. Dang. I thought I was bad. :D

I have always been interested in a .44 Magnum but honestly, the .45 seems like plenty gun - at least for now. I'm not hunting bears or lions, and so the .45 has all the stopping power I'll ever need for lesser creatures such as coyotes and bad guys. haha. I love that gun to no end.

I have a Winchester Model 1400 12ga 3-shot semi-auto shotgun, and a Savage Arms 7mm rifle. I'd like to get a handgun, but it's not in my budget right now. About a year ago, I passed up a 22-250, and a co-worker bought it. Still kicking myself in the rear for that.

I did have a Jennings .22 auto handgun a while back, pretty cool, very small.

Sweet! Yea, I'm waaaay more into handguns than any other kind. I can't get enough of 'em. :P

Wow, some nice collections. Skwerly, I'm jealous of the Kimber, the 1911 is my favorite handgun.

I love the Walther p22's, their a sweet little gun.

Haha me too! the P22 is awesome.

I love love the wood grain in the hole puncher... that's freakin sweet. nice 1911 too. is that a wilson combat mag i see poking out there? that's what i run and my kimber shoots flawlessly. never once has it jammed or misfired.

The P22 is my favorite out the bunch, but only cause it's cheap to shoot. It's jammed twice in 2500rds of the cheapest crap I can find.

Thanks Skwerly, a friend of mine did the dye and finish on the stock for me, and bedded the action and floated the barrel after I finished building it.

The 1911 is my baby, has been "massaged" a little, and it's never hiccuped once even when new. Believe it or not, they're actually Taurus mags.

I like those, and looked at them. The issue I have is I can buy an AR for not much more.

I love .22's, they are cheap to shoot and can still do alot of damage. I hate when people bag on them for not being a "big" gun, atleast you can afford to shoot one of them.

No bagging here, I'd sell every gun I own before the P22 left here. I couldn't agree more. I have a good friend who summed it up best; "One well placed .22 is much more deadly that a whole clip sprayed from something you can't control."

yea, everyone automatically assumes you have to have the best or biggest of everything or it doesn't count. these are usually the same fools with horrible self esteem and no freedom at home. they use "stuff" to define who they are. lame.

everyone who has shot my .45 says it's the smoothest handgun they've ever fired, hands down. i know i like it!

i hear good things about taurus, actually. seems they started out as kind of a cheapo company but when they caught on, their quality control went through the roof. rock island, too, although i've heard of guns doing weird stuff like going full auto when pins sheared - NOT good. that'll kill someone quick style.

i like the .22 conversion for my kimber but what i really would like is an actual .22 handgun. i just don't see the sense of shelling out a few hundred bucks for something i already have. at least not at the moment haha. :D

there are some sweet guns in this thread! keep em coming!

I bought a Ruger 10-22 over the summer. Just a simple one with a scope and composite stock. I love it. Cheap and fun to go shooting with. When I turn 21 I want a Kimber 1911.

Smith&Wesson .40: Had it a couple years, shot it like 3 times. Piece of junk. Sits in storage.

Now: UTG Quad rail, CAA collapsible fore grip, Streamlight TLR-1 light, and single point harness mount. I didnt want to go all out with it like some people do (Bi-pod, laser, etc etc.) because it is my tactical gun, and i need it light weight for searches and standoff's.

Fun lil group shot that I carry daily before the AR was added: including the remington 870 door buster now with a 13 inch barrel, and the SIG SAUER P220 .45 that is in a safety deposit box. First gun ever carried on duty before department went to glocks. It will always have a place in my heart:

COOL collection man! my buddy, who is also a cop, swears by glock too. i've shot his and it is very nice indeed. :) i just like all-steel guns better. of course, i don't have a ccw YET and so haven't worn the 90 lb 1911 on my hip for any length of time. :D

why do you say the s&w .40 is junk? what specifically don't you like about it? i've never shot one, i'm just curious.

I used to feel the same way about the all steel weapons, but just the comfort that the glocks have with them, as well as the reliability.... nothing i have ever shot (hundreds of handguns) comes close them. Most composite/steel handguns are very unbalanced, (POS S&W) but glock has managed to make the weapon just feel perfectly balanced before, during, and after squeezing off a round (or 16). The only gun i have ever shot that is smoother than the glock's is the Sig Sauer, them NAZI bastards did an AMAZING job designing this gun for comfort, but the reliability was a huge issue for me, being i was putting my life on the line for this gun to work EVERY trigger squeeze.
I took that S&W out with premium ammunition, 3 times to the range using a new box of ammo each time, and "stove-piped" at least 2 rounds each time i went out.

The Sig Sauer I probably put 15,000 rounds through, and had 21 jams.

The Glocks, with the 3 i own combined, Close to 50,000 rds with 2 jams. One was a stove pipe in the 26 after i broke the slide spring mount, and one squib round in the 22 during qualifications.

I've got one 1022, love it. Nothing special. Changed the stock and barrel. Polished the trigger. Still want to work on it a bit, but it is a blast. And if my speed loader works right... Damn it's fun and cheap too!
I got mad when I couldn't get ammo and started "hoarding." Got 13 boxes of .22 shells.
Would like to do another 1022. Boyd's evolution stock, something like this http://www.rudefatdog.com/17_sm.jpg

Browning Buckmark, figure it's got 4000 rounds through it. Favorite gun.
A .380, .38 and a .357 magnum. Probably got 500 rounds each in the safe for those.

Shot a little last weekend. Maybe 400 rds. of .22 shells? A box of .357 and one of .38?

Love the 1911. Been thinking about getting a Springfield.
