candyman, maybe my comment was a bit harsh towards the french. i dont WISH harm on anyone. but I'm especially sorry to see this happen to the british when they have had our backs for so long and so many times. i know darn well the french werent responsible. i do wish that they would get a dose of reality, though in a terroristic attack is not how i would like to see it. perhaps a large rope pulling thier collective heads out of thier collective asses.

ryan for some reason i had always thought of you as a teenager (i think i think of all members as teenagers untill i see otherwise)

your words while not the most poectic moved me ..your country has been the only ones to publicly go after these waste's of life with us and I'm truly sorry you have to deal with new terror attacks....it can be easy in todays world to think of cititzens of other countrys as somehow less.......brave, inteligent, patriotic, etc..

Which is why I think of people from GB as "Brothers". It sucks to see people go through incidents like this, no matter what. No one deserves what happened to them, or to the USA on 9/11, or Spain on 3/11 (my birthday, btw!). Without Britain, this world would be a heck of a lot worse, and for their assistance in the War on Terror, I thank the whole lot of them.

One person killed in a terrorist attack is just as bad as 5000. Its not about the number of people killed, its about terrorizing the ones that are still alive.

GB is a strong Nation with resolve. I'm saddened to see the deaths and ingeries of your countrymen. Your great nation will do the same as ours and bounce back quickly and be stronger in spite of this and the wishes of the terrorists.

Hey plaidfish, I don't think hunting and torturing terrorist will reduce us to there level. We don't go around blowing up corner markets like they do. If we have a problem with another country, we announce it on CSPAN, "WE Are Coming to Kick your Ass" and we don't go in bombing civilians in the streets while they are grocery shopping.

I’m with you on posting pic’s and declaring open season on those bastards. I would hunt them down with or with out a reward. It would be nice to recoup expenses or just give me another case of ammo and I will be happy and on my way to find the next terrorist on the list. :sniper:

Fun friday afternoon.

Well I've just got back from the basement of my office where we were evacuated to because of a suspect package on a bus literally right outside....police carried out a contolled explosion on it...some numbnuts had left his bag behind, only damage is to the windows on the bus!! A couple of streetcleaners are now moaning about having to brush up the glass....me I'm off to subway theres a 12" cheese steak with my name on it...its lunchtime and i'm hungry then i got work to do.

As to what to do about terrorists. I think the best thing to do is go on like it didn't even happen. I'm not saying forget about it, but retaliation is what they want. I think as citizens we have to go on with our lives, and let the goverment/military do the terrorist hunting. Imagine the caos if everyone was hunting terrorist like the wild west. No thanks. I work with the general public, and I don't want to be around when they go hunting.

Personal opinions on actions the military should take. Send in the seals (or other forces like them) Give them unlimited resorces, and assassinate known terrorists. I like the pigblood idea. Maybe on the first one, or two leave a pig foot in his mouth as a calling card. I know this would harm the pig, but hey go check out the super market already.

New hobby for terrorist shouldn't be RC I agree. I've been waiting for an RC jet to smash into a building full of jet fuel. It would have to be like a missle don't you think?

I like the idea about the foot, but take it a notch further.... think Hollywood n Vine, or Polk street in SanFran, or even Mister Garrison.... Nuff said.

Anyways, you're right there, Hyped; a reaction is what they want. But they're more after getting some mentally handicapped fool into blowing themselves up for the belief of martyrdom (source; report on Fox News). Seems that if you threaten to take away their 'hopes' of immortality via the oinker, it takes away their most precious resource; willing human beings. Simply fight fire with fire, and use their whacked out version of Islam against them.

Besides, you just can't take a non-reactive stance. Doing so only gets more people killed, as the terrorists will see that it's an easy target. The only real course of action is to seal up the security hole that they exploited to attack in the first place, so it won't happen again. And to be pro-active, to catch them BEFORE they can kill dozens (GB), hundreds (Bali), or thousands (NYC).
