Your making me want to build a plane, knock it off! I have a kit waitng.
He is doing the same to me. I don’t have a plane they always kinda scared me. But they have so many options now. And this is probably why they scare me. My uncle had one and wrecked it first flight. I don’t remember what it was, but his face said enough when it happened. It was big. Like a 6ft wing span.

You find a fountain of youth over there? You've built like 6 really cool RC's in a very short period of time man. This one looks like it's going to fly like a mosquito.

With RC planes, wrecking isn't if, it's when. My very first flight was flawless and without the GPS system simply because I
wasn't smart enough to set it up so I installed my own electronics.
I pretty much learned from my RealFlight 9 and it's amazing how closely it felt like the real model.
The plane didn't last long about the forth time out though.:(

Are those Honda hinges I see on the wings??? 😲
This looks like another fun one! Do you think you'll get it in the air soon? 😁

You do seem to be banging these planes out quickly. 😎
So sorry your Civic is still up on car stands.
I actually work on these from sun up to sun down. I can't get enough and the wife loves it.
She usually says order something so I have something to do.

Thats funny! I have been spending a lot of time on the Mid project with fallen trees and insane dogs peppered in for fun!
My progress has been no where near what yours has been though!
Its funny when my friend built his plane decades ago, it seemed almost an impossible build. It took forever! I see all you plane guys building them quickly and with some ease now... its encouraging!!!
I want to learn to fly a plane!!! 😍

I would need to buy a new computer, put it online...
Crashing might be cheaper. 🤔🤣
I kind of have a theory, I'm a rookie builder and flyer at best but I use it to my advantage.
A wrecked plane frees up space to build another one.
This next Autumn I'm going to build a large scale gas plane. Gas or nitro, not sure yet.
Nitro would definitely be cheaper.

I just could NOT believe how cool, huge and acrobatic those large scale planes really are!!! Pictures do no justice to the true size of them in person!
I know the pilots at the airshow I saw were top notch but OMG!!! I didn't know ANYTHING could do the tricks those planes were doing!!!

I went to this show a few years ago and I am STILL blown away by it!!! 😍

I guess its like sports sort of? Gotta learn how to loose (crash) with grace to win. 🙄🤣

I'm not too much into the 3d flying, in fact I really hate 3d helicopter flying. It looks ridiculous and not in a good way.
I don't mind easy barrel rolls and loops but not into the heavy 3d flying. Granted it is cool as ever but I prefer the natural real
looking flying.

I get it! I feel the same way about drifting.
Its cool and looks fun but it sort of goes against EVERYTHING I've tried to accomplish to GAIN traction! 🤣
I thought the tricks were cool but the show WAS about actual planes, actually flying.
They did a segment with the trick choppers.
I have NO idea how they didn't completely lawn dart into the runway about EVERY time they did a trick! 🤣
I never saw anything like that before! 😎😍😁

I prefer some level of realism to rc.
The skatepark ramping cars 35' into treetops does very little for me.
Why bother with an rc car? A bowling ball and a giant slingshot would be just as fun and less breakage! 🤣
Same with racetracks with wall-riding and giant jumps. A 1/10 scale buggy jumping 25' is just never going to look 'right' to me, even if the car can handle it. 🤷‍♀️

I prefer scale flying. If you can't do it in a 1/1 aircraft it just looks wrong.
And you really don't want to know how many rc aircraft I have destroyed over the years.

That stat for me has yet to begin. I've only flown my Hobbyzone Carbon Cub S2 "awesome plane"
and my park flyers. Like I mentioned before, I never flew the planes I built because I had zero confidence in them.
The two I just finished I will definitely try.
