I know of the tip of using tool box drawer lining as a mask for doing carbon fiber, but I can't seem to find the right type. All the stuff I find seems to messing in the gaps, and I wouldnt imagine looking to well. So I was curious if theres any other tricks I could try? Any pointers would be appriciated. Thanks!

I now that window screen material comes in various gauges of thickness and pattern tighness. Try a metal screen material?

Head to Wally world and look in the kitchen supplies area and you should find the drawer liner there. That's the stuff that will give you the checkered board look.

I heard the rubbery stuff under carpets works pretty well. Is that the same thing as the lining on toolboxes? not sure. A lot of people use it tho.

$63 for cf stickers!!!!! holy!!!!

Wally world is where I got mine. I got a good sized roll and that lasts a long time. If you absolutely can't find it, go to the hardware store and get a roll of that adhesive mesh drywall tape. Not the regular paper stuff, but the screen looking stuff. It's sticky on one side and will stick inside the body ok. It's not as good as the drawer liner, but it might do in a pinch.

Tj's gonan hook me up with a cut. (Thanks again bro!) I couldnt find it at the walmart here in town and I tried 2 different hardware stores. Both of them carried the same stuff. That was all I could find and the gaps in between werent even square. Thanks again Tj!

Ed, I did a Dodge neon up in Cf vinyl. He had these big tears along the side of it, so it looked pretty cool. (I had pics, but they went with the crash). But yeah, that Carbon Fiber vinyl is NOT cheap. Thats alot of bones for 15" vinyl though.
