Ok, it's some kind of acess panel on the bottom of my HP pavilion notebook which I opened. The notebook has 2 acess panels on it, one for RAM, and this other one which I do not know what it is. It is located near the audio in/outputs and controls, and near the LAN card slot. Can someone please tell me what this is for and what kinda expansion port is it? (assuming it is some kind of expansion port...)

I've never opened up a laptop, but looking at the photos, I would say they are aerial views taken of a huge parking lot, surrounded by well kept yards and houses with nice clean driveways. It looks like a great place to run R/C.

Personally you have to options. Option A says if you don't know what you are doing you might want to have someone who does know what they are doing tell you. Option B is more bold and fun, just fiddle with it and if it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway.
