Has anyone used aluminum clutch shoes? I need opinions.

I think my plastic shoes are worn. Stinkin CB gets real hot.

Alum grabs fast and hard. It will cause fast hookup. On a soft or slick surface like dirt it isn't a good thing.

Cool. Maybe I can get a few wheelies in.

How well does it wear? Should it last longer than plastic?

It should last a good long time. The issue is it will wear out your bell as well.
No such thing as a free lunch.

i have alum clutch shoes. and they do hook up fast. the part about the clutch bell wearing out seems to be true. the last time i looked at mine, there was a little wear on the bell. although i got the ofna vented bell and i think they have a hardened bell. it might work a little bit better. but i'm not sure if it's vented or not. to be quite honest, i'm not sure if the ofna vented bell is hardened or not. if it is then just about every time you change out your clutches, you might as well get a new bell. i've had mine on for approx 2-3 months.
