All lightning owners please read what parts do you break most often?

Hey what parts do you guys break most often? Also what parts shoulld i stock up on for racing? Also what else should i get to race i already have a good steering servo, and a fuel filter and i have a temp gun. What else should i get? Also what bodies fit on the lightning besides the 7.5?

i seem to be having a problem with the front hub carriers. i have borken two of them in less than three months. other than that i havent borken anything else.

Well i guest i will have to get some of them. I only started this forum because I'm gonna be racing and i want to know what parts to stalk up on.

I've had problems loosing screws from the steering knuckles. Others report that the steering knuckels strip easy in this area. It might be wise to upgrade to Kyosho or GS Storm steering knuckels. I've also lost a few eclips. A tip on that: If you take the rod that the eclip snaps onto and turn it around so the eclip is facing the oposite direction, you'll stop loosing eclips. Other than that, I broke the wing. I'm sure you have a new one of those by now.

Another good tip is to get ready for race day by giving it a good cleaning and checking for loose screws. Loose screws are my biggest enemy and they will cause you greef if you don't stay on top of them.

Do you lose e clips a lot ? I did nt get what you said about turning them around. What e clips do you lose all of the time? Also what other screws and nuts do you lose? Also have you had a problems with the ball ends on any part? If so what ball ends. I want to know all of this so if something does go wrong at the track and i lose something i willl have the part. Also what else is handy at the track that will help me like anything and everythiing.
