Some really scary stuff. My lady and my dog spent several hours huddled in a closet while I found it irresistible to stand at the side of the windows and watch storm after storm pass through. Intense amounts of rain and hail larger than golf balls covered the parking lot till it looked like it had snowed.
The worst of it hit after dark, so I have no idea of how much damage is out there.

I'm seeing all kinds of photos and hearing all kinds of reports.

Hope everyone is safe and sound.

Some of that storm passed through here Monday night while we were camping but it has gotten a lot worst after it passed our area. Was the first night my truck wasn't covered, it didn't dent the truck but it did put a lot of dings in my bed cover.

Hope everything is OK on your end Ralph!

We got hit here in Raleigh, NC from the last storm.....wrecked a LOT of stuff....Stay safe Rolex.

I couldn't get my wife to leave the closet until the weather channel reassured her that the tornado warnings were over, haha. She was up all night. I slept like a baby. :)

I was a storm spotter when I lived in Kansas and survived a twister or two at very close range. Glad you made it through, Rolex. Hope there wasn't too much dust stirred up around your Savvy.

Be safe Ralph! We are getting some pretty bad weather here today, but NOTHING like your area has gotten. Alabama got slammed hard! The news is saying 178 people have died as a result of the storms in the south.

Be safe. I don't know how you guys do it. Living with the threat of tornadoes every year and such.

We got first choice, Rob. That's why you have all the lawyers in the Granola State

We got lucky over here, as usual the Mountains either turned the storms coming up from GA north eastward, or broke up the ones coming from the west. When I say lucky, I mean it, a small town in N GA about 20 miles away got the full brunt of it. I would have never known, slept right through it.

?????

I must be a little slow this morning since your statement flew over my head.

Ralph got sucked up, havnt hearn nothin from him. I hear dorothy is a hot piece, maybe you can send her home, unless your a witch type lol! Be careful I hate storms, I wish the best to ya bud

2012 will affect both coasts so you best get yours together as well. :D

We're pretty safe down here in Florida, so I'm going to send all my "safe-thinking" your way. Hope everything passes okay!

-Brian

There's an old joke that goes,"Why did Tornado Alley get all the tornadoes and California get all the bad attorneys? Tornado Alley got first choice.

I started this thread last night after they finally canceled the alerts at 1:00 AM.
Right now, We're all fine, but my car is SERIOUSLY beat up. At the worst part of the hail, I headed for the closet, and according to the news this morning we got hail the size of tennis balls.
My windows are still intact, but the metal damage is brutal. Several cars in the lots had their rear windows knocked out and spider web windshield cracks from facing in the wrong direction.
Beautiful day today, bright sunshine, gentle breezes. Amazing.
