airtronics MX-3 with futaba R133F?

will the airtronics MX-3 radio work with a futaba r133f reciever? as far as i see everything is the same, 3 channel fm ..thats all that matters right? I'm ordering the mx-3 and want another reciever so i can run my truck and my buggy on the same radio, and the r133f was a good price. thx for any info.

I dont know if it would work it seems like it should buy here is a 2 channel FM 75Mhz reciver by novak

thx for the link..but i think it has to be a 3-channel reciever also? that novak one is a 2 channel..and the mx-3 is 3 channel. does anyone have experience with using different brand of TX and RX?

No dont have have to be a 3 channel rx. It is just that you will only be able to use 2 channels I was going to buy one and the guy at my LHS said that one, so it should work.
