Hey i have been looking in to airbrush's and was wondering what ones you would recomend. Also i have a big Heavy duty carpenters compressor i was also wondering if that would be fine or if i would need a different one. these were the airbrushes I'm considering.

Airbrush 1

Airbrush 2
or if there is a differentt one please tell me thanks

I would go with the double action. You will get more precise control.
Your compressor will work fine. Get a GOOD regulator and an even Better moisture trap.
Have fun...

The VL is a dual-action internal mix brush. It will give better control over paintflow and atomization. The H is a single action external mix.

In a single action brush, the button only controls the air flow. Paint flow is pretty constant. In a dual action, the button controls airflow when you push it down, and paint flow when you pull it backwards. That allows you more flexibility to limit the amount of paint you shoot. Go with dual action. It takes just a little practice to get used to, but it's easy once you do. BTW, I use a VL for my bodies.

The compressor will work, but they sometimes pulsate which will make your spray do the same but shouldnt be to big of a problem, I got a good deal from www.harborfreight.com on a really nice airbrush compressor I think they are around 70 bucks or so good luck with the airbrushing its lots of fun once you get the hang of it :)
