aftershock

i put a losi polished tuned pipe on and man now that truck pulls wheelies like crazy i ran 1 tank of gas fine the on second tank of gas it would bog down very bad and then go it was acting like it was startving for fuel what could be causing that

Did it sound all gurgly before it cleared? Or did it just sound like it just plain didn't want to go? Lean bog sounds different than rich bog, more like it just won't go.

it sounded very gurgly then would clear it ran great with the first tank then the second tank is when it started this

it sounds like there might be a bit of a mixture prblem going on here... but if it was pulling wheelies then it might of been a bit too lean... then u say it was gurgly which means it was running too lean... hmm very interesting... i have an aftershock too and i notice that it can drink very quickly if the mixtures to rich. Does the fuel seem to disapear stupily quick??

no the first tank with the new exhaust did not go to quick the problem started on the second tank

did you shut the engine off to fill the tank up?

yes it ran out off gas so i refueled let cool and restarted

If seems to bog at the low RPM's and then clear out as you reach higher RPM's, then you are rich.There is too much fuel on the LSN needle going in. Lean the LSN 1 hour's worth of a turn or 1/12. Do it in this increment so you see where the change affects your acceleration.

well does it do it many times or was it just the once because sometimes air can get into the fuel line and create that starved of fuel affect that you mentioned.

The reason i asked u about shutting the engine off is because air can get in if the fuel system is closed.

why would the first tank run so good and it start on the second tank?

no it did it alot after i refueled

i really do think it is air in the system. mabey in the way that u refueled or something. its just something that happens.

Try one suggestion at a time. Just because it ran good one time means it will run the same the next go around. If you have left over fuel in the tank or fuel lines, it can gum up your lines and tank. So when you start it up the next time,jut give it a few quick blips of the throttle to clear it out.
