can anyone recommend links to sites that carry aftermarket parts for the NTC3, such as aluminum hubs, metal gears, carbon fiber, ect... I've looked around, and cannot find anything that is really all that unique?

Here is a link for some K-factory parts, I've seen some Ebay as well. They are being distributed by Trinity, so your LHS should be able to get them fairly easy!

There are many hopups for the Ntc3 Associated team parts have a crap load of them as do all other sites listed above, In my opionion the most important of all hopups by far hands down must be done period. Is the K Factory gas tank. this has improved the tunning stability and running consistancy. Simply put no more bubling or foaming in the tank. I love it.

I agree! Most of the upgrades you are looking for are actually made by Associated directly! Some quality stuff at that!

Hardcore Racing is a mojority of what I have done to my TEAM NTC3. The HCR Shaft, Brake Hub, front/rear bulk, Shaft Cups and Titanium upper deck. I also have an Associated and RD Logics Dual Chamber pipe. The RD Logics by far performed better with my setup.

I am going to have to look into the gas tank. I havent had a problem but it seems as if it couldnt hurt to upgrade.

christian - do u have any photos of that upper deck? or a ink where i can see it? i think the first things i want to do, is add the aluminium wheel hubs, and something for the upper deck. am concerned about looks, but handling is my first priority.

Go under Associated and you will find the parts.

Keep in mind, the Ti Upper deck and supports will definately reduce chassis flex, however, it does make the car twitchy (just more sensitive to steering and throttle inputs etc..)

I chose only to go with the upper decks as a result of that. I left the braces 'Team' stock.

Also, on the wheels, dont bother dropping the cash on anything high end alum. or ti. unless its purely for show and photos. You will burn through tires to quick and if you do a good gluing job getting the old skins off will be a bitch. I decided to just run with Hard compound, premounted and balanced, ProLine and Egali foams. This is just the way it goes with on-road.

thanks chris - but i was referring to the hubs, not the wheels. lol. i use premounted foams from jaco. so no need for wheels. thanks for the link!

crap - no i didnt - lemmi go back and do it! lol. btw, looked at your gallery, nice stuff! take a looka t mine.

thanks. i signed up for that catalog. the jaco shoes are great, they wear true, and never chunk off. I love them, wont buy anything else. some of the lower compounds wear quickly depending on the surface they are running. For the track i race at, which is smooth blacktop, I run a 30shore in front, and a 28shore on the rear. these will last about 10 races ( 150minutes of run time). but they will wear out in less than a day of bashing on asphalt. I also have a set of bashers that are 42shore all around, and they still stick much better than any rubber tire, and seem to last about a month on rough surfaces.

Do they make metal gears for the ntc3 yet?...i'd sure like some...my diff gear, one of the teeth is gone

i have not seen one yet, but the gears are almost indestructable unless they are not lubed properly or some debris gets in there.

I still don't get how you mesh the diff gears and the pinion(?) diff gear?...I just go by what the instruction manual says

in the front or rear diff?? dammit! u made it before me! dont u worry though, I'm right behind u!
