After some times off from running my buggy (about 2 months), I FINALLY got out today and ran the snot out of it. Actually, since it had been a while, I took it easy. The Storm had just been outfitted with a new RB Concepts CE plant, a new ti chassis, and mugen shocks, so I treated it like it was a break-in run. Anyways, it ran great but I have a few questions.
1. The temp climbed a little as the tank emptied. Is this normal ?
Does the engine lean out as fuel is used ?
2. Are my eyes screwed up, or did I see sparks coming off the Ti
chassis as it scraped across some of the loose rocks at my track ?
3. What would cause it to idle very high ? Just all of a sudden it revved very high.
It felt good to get back out there. No one was at the track but me, but still felt good. Believe it or not, I even looked forward to the clean up. I just got this 2 gallon pancake air compressor and I can't recommend one of these enough. K, sorry about the long thread. Feels good to be back in the forums also. Later.....
