Added a Merv to the stable, I held off for the longest time thinking there is no way that I am going to enjoy a micro after driving 1/10, 1/8, and 1/5th especially at $300 with a couple of lipo's. Well I was definately wrong after running it on just 7.4 volts I don't think it is safe for me to know what 14.8 is like My 9 year drove it and he said he is never driving is mamba equipped rustler again cause this thing is cool. Next up is the bling order Definately a Traxxas homerun.

I have a set of 4 of these Jconcepts Double Dees that I am going to mount up and take to the indoor track that we run at, we will see what those buggy guys think with their fragile little cars.

can't handle 14.8 - only 14.4 - run a 11.1v 3s Lipo and hang on! i've driven my MERV like 50 times and i laugh everytime still!

What do you mean can't handle 4s @ 14.8? I just turn off my LVC and keep my runtimes short but it screams. No problems so far... I thought thats what everybody else was doing when using 2 lipos in series?

you can do it but i hear of thermal shutdown and some fried components every once in a while....i just don't do it and stick with 3s packs....good enough for me is all

Anyone else care to chime in on the practice of running 4s on the Stock esc w/ LVC turned off? I read a couple of different forums and it seems to be pretty common but wanted to make sure. btw I have only done this twice just so I could say she ran like hell til she blew up
