I'm 44 years old, but haven't been into the cars near as long as some of you younger guys. Tamiya is bringing back some of the older kits.
Some of you talking about the "Frog." http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LNLKY8&P=G
Here is a few more.

I can remember the lunchbox. I wanted one in my teen years, but never got one.

I just got done building the Grashopper kit.
Ill have to say, RCs have come a long way. It was a fun build and I'm ready to run it when the weather clears up.

it would be cool to see one on the track with the newer ones.

I think it is cool that Tamiya is re-releasing some of its classic RC's. The Lunchbox and the Blackfoot got me started. My blackfoot has long since bit the dust. Lost in the attic somewhere at my folks. My best friend had part of a Super Blackfoot but he got rid of it before I had a chance to get my hands on it. Those were the days though guys.

Speaking of old RC's,
I recalled an electric RC buggy type car that I had when I was about 19 or so, I'm 40 now, so it's been a while. It was a Tyco TurboHopper.
I went digging through alot of my old stuff and actually found it, the radio, and the charger for the 8 AA Nicads. I didn't find the body though. I had to get a set of AA'a and a 9 volt just to see if it still worked,,it did,,lol.
I dunno if you folks recall those, but it was fun in it's day.

I started late with the cars. Would be cool to build one of the old ones and something new. Build one right after the other.

Just to see how far they have came.

Thank You Very Much Jeep

I had the turbo hopper(brother did actually) I claimed it as my own though and as I was so young then, (21 now) I couldnt remember the name.. I want another one.. that turbo back then was so good... lol Fast as hell to me..
