Anyone ever hear of the company A-Tech? I went to the LHS today and they had a 1/18th buggy on the counter that was made by this company. It looked pretty nice, but the guy was busy so I didnt get to ask him about it. Anyone ever heard or seen these run? The buggy they had there was $169.99 (My LHS prices are ALWAYS high though).

I've seen them on the net, but not in real life. I know one18th.com has a forum specifically for them. You should be able to get a bunch of info there.

With the amount of "New Brands" on the market aren't many of them "Old Molds" being sold by the manufacturers, or the manufacturers issuing licenses to whoever wants to pay for the mold time?

A lot of them seem to be the same design with different materials, motors, electronics, and packaging from whomever brands it.

Just wondering.

yeah i think your right. when i did a search i got some links that took me to schumacher.:ponder2:
