Well, I just could not resist anymore. I went down to a newish hobby shop to grab an SCX30 K10, he had them a week ago, but was sold out now. So I went to the only other hobby shop in town, I was just in there a couple days ago and they had several, so todays the day! I pull into the parking lot with a smile on my face, skip up to the front door...locked! Lights on inside, but a sign posted on the door: "closed for inventory " til Friday.

Guess my little Acsent 32 will still be lonely til Friday.

My lhs sold out (backed me up a week) but got more. I checked their website on a Tuesday and they showed 17. I was there at opening Wednesday and they had 4 or 5!

They're selling like crazy, and for good reason. And I've heard rumors of no more stock until March from Axial.

Lol, I have told myself no upgrades for the baby Axial...... I am keeping myself busy figuring out the mounting for the Miata body on my Redcat Acsent 32 (its all Dooms fault, lol). Mostly want to get the SCX30 for others to run, but also because why not? Maybe I need an intervention or something? Looking through the door that was locked, they still had a couple of each color K10 on the counter, as Arnold once said: "I'll be baaaaack"

Yeah, the first shop I went to said Horizon is out, and he can't even get anymore ordered until sometime in March. He also said the Redcats are backordered as well.

LHS finished their inventory and door was open today
I was planning to get the black one, but guess I am just a sucker for seafoam green. Between the Axial and the Redcat, first impressions? Lets just say that the Acsent 32 will be occupying more of my attention. Obviously some will like the SCX30 better, as it has better electronics, tires, and not as bouncy in stock form. Aftermarket upgrades are off the charts already for both. For customizing? Go with the Redcat, just seems to be more adaptable. Body mounting? Redcat wins. Looks? Definitely Axial.
Bottom line in my opinion so far? Just freekin get both

I do the same with packages, and takeout. Keeps it from being broken, or all over the car in the case of takeout when I inevitably have to slam on the brakes to acommodate some mouth-breather they'll give a drivers license to.

Yeah, the course is coming together pretty sweet! I am pretty much done with the obstacles, going to coat it with synthetic stucco hopefully this weekend. I will make a thread on the building of it
