exactly, when i was in school we could have guns in our cars and i remember when i was young having kids bring guns in for show and tell. not anymore though I'm pretty sure they changed all that.

I started shooting when I was 5 I grew up on a ranch also nothing big just some horses and pigs and stuff like that. I shot a 12 ga shotgun when I was 7 in a skeet shooting competition and won. My parents always taught me to respect gunsand to treat every gun as if it were loaded and all my friends got taught the same so we were out hunting by our selves at 10 years old with 30/30's 22's shot guns. Its all how your raised I guess. I have put many animals down weather it be hunting or just cause they hurt themselves or for "harvest" Its really just a part of farm life. I can't say I agree with the kid cause i'm not religious but He is very well spoken and passionate. Good post.

Aye. I've been living in Montana for a few years now after spending my whole life in California. Guns are veiwed in a totally different way here. And I gotta tell ya, Armed robbery, drivebys and that stuff, just doesn't happen here. I was pleasantly suprised when I met my 13 year old son's friends he's met here. Just the same kind of kids as the one in the video. Very well spoken and more polite than I've ever seen in....you know....the C word. NO not THAT C word! I meant California!!!

Don't get me wrong I'm not knockin CA or anything. Just parts of it. I grew up in Northern Cali but not quite as far north as Oroville (San Jose/SF bay area). Used to dirtbike in Redding a lot. Of course I've been all over CA and there is some of the most beautiful country in the world there. It just also happens to be full of a-holes.

...not to go off on a different tanget or anything...

Oh I agree I dont go south of sacramento if I can help it lol
