I did it ,it doesn't cost much ,they sell motor mounts on E-bay pretty cheap ,I used an HPI one ,the
mount is adjustable for gear change!..

To press it in? I filed it down using a drill and pressed them into each other with a vise.

so you did not drill n tap you used a press fit.. hope it lasts.. nice work good to see another person thinking.

Here it is in the car.

Don't have to use the clutch bell just get a different pitch pinion or change spur to suit
