Yesterday i take my MGT to a local parking lot to tune the engine and adjust the transmission a little.
Well i get the engine tuned perfectly in my book, running 243*F, ample amount of smoking coming from the stinger... so i decide to start adjusting the transmission a little. taking to long to shift into 2nd in my book. not anywhere near the 15-20 feet that the manual calls for.
well in me bringing my truck back to me i notice the truck is moving extremely slow, and not very responsive at all.... and i notice the spur gear is stripped....

well i guess either 1) didn't set the spacing correctly or 2) didn't tighten the motor mount screws down......

well i go to the LHS to buy a new spur gear and when i go to take the spur gear off the little bushings for the slipper some how melted them selves down and FUBAR'd my entire spur.
So my question is, what did i do wrong to have this happen.... I am very familiar with nitros..... but this is my first Off Road Nitro.... being first one with a slipper clutch.
