That's a 2n1 I might appreciate more than the rx/esc model
Agreed. The rx/esc seems awkward unless in a minicrawler where it makes sense due to space limitations.

Now the esc/motor combo I like because it frees up space and a little weight and less wires to fuss with.

Motor wires shortened up, and swapped so red is red and so on. No more dangling around trying to get tied around the front driveshaft. Technically it should be better electrically with less wire. Less ripple and what not.

I got around to putting the side view mirrors on for yesterday's adventure. As all reviews have stated, 1 got knocked off...I found it, but I did not find the back that "holds" it on. Anyone know if you can buy those retainers separately?

Showing off the dog's trailing capability...

a little shoe goo or es3000 on the inside will hold those accesories in much better than clips or the rubber gromets they come with.

reinstall them, and add a dab of goo on the inside ittl hold em in place.
if you're doing that, you should also add a few strips of cemetnt tape then another layer og goo on the inside of the whole body
then add a smear of goo all over the inside of the body to give it a layer of durability that will keep the body in perfect shape for years to come

The body is surprisingly well protected on this design. Assuming you use all the optional included parts. Front bumper, and roof rack offer a lot. The factory installed sliders have the sides tucked into them etc. I put glue on the back of the other push on retainers....but not the mirrors....cause I wanted drive more than watch the glue dry....and I installed them while the battery was charging.
