yep, it WAS black. Once you paint on the outside it only takes a little boredom to have a color change. So you know... I went up 3 teeth on the pinion, and I can get it to "cog" (I think) a tiny bit under load. All I have it the TEST COURSE I put all my crawlers on, namely the curb. You make do with what you got........And it's LEAF green, and, well...
